Alternatively you might like to take a boat trip on Loch Ness stopping off at the ruined Urquhart Castle, dating back to the 13th century, on the shores of the loch.

Skye & the West Coast

Venture a little further afield and you could be on your way to the beautiful West Coast with its rugged and dramatic scenery and picturesque villages or even the mystical Isle of Skye.

The Highland area is famed for its majestic, mountainous landscapes and rugged coastlines all teeming with wildlife including golden eagles, red deer, seals, otters and even a dolphin colony in the nearby Moray Firth.
